Semi-mobile charging stations are infrastructures designed to supply electric power to electric vehicles but, unlike fixed charging stations, are characterised by their ability to be moved or relocated from one place to another.
This type of charging station offers greater flexibility than fixed stations, as they can be temporarily placed in different locations within a geographical area, such as public car parks, shopping centres, hotels, service stations or workplaces. This makes it possible to meet the charging needs of electric vehicles in different areas or during specific occasions, such as trade fairs or events, without requiring a significant investment to install a permanent charging station.
They can operate via a connection to the power grid or be equipped with accumulators.
They can be integrated with remotely managed booking and payment systems to provide easy and secure access to charging services.
